Born on May 16 in New York City.

1970

Serves in the U.S. Army (MACV & JUSMAG/MACTHAI) until 1973.

1974

Is an adult corrections officer II with the Hawaii State Prison.

1976

Earns an Associate of Arts from Kapi’olani Community College.

1977

Is an investigator for the Hawaii Commission on Crime.

1979

Achieves a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Hawaii; Attends the University of Hawaii School of Law until 1982.

1988

Is a probation officer for the NYC Probation Dept. until 1989; Earns a business management certificate from the NYC Taylor Business Institute.

1989

Is a probation officer, investigator and armed peace officer for the Westchester County Probation Department until 2011.

1991

Attains an Advanced Drug Investigations Certificate from DEA Montreal and again in 1998 from DEA New Orleans.

1993

Teaches as an adjunct instructor for basic/background investigations at Westchester Community College until 2006.

1998

Serves Westchester County as a union shop steward, union representative and union contracts negotiator until 2005.

1999

Is a NYS DCJS general topics instructor and police instructor.

2000

Earns a certificate from the Defensive Tactics Instructor School at the FBI Training Center in Peekskill, NY.

Becomes a member of the International Narcotic Enforcement Officers Association.
