Earns a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Michigan and is a junior astronomer at Kitt Peak National Observatory until 1969.

Serves the University of Toledo as an assistant professor of astronomy until 1974.

1970

Becomes a member of the American Geophysical Union and the Institute of Navigation.

1974

Is a systems analyst at the Computer Sciences Corporation in Maryland until 1979.

1979

Works as a systems analyst in the electronics division at General Dynamics Corp. on the Vandenberg Air Force Base until 1980.
