Mr. Mordy is born in Ashland, Kansas to Thomas Robson Mordy and Ruth Mordy.

1945

Mr. Mordy joins the U.S. Naval Reserve, serving on active duty for 16 months.

1947

Mr. Mordy receives a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry from the University of Kansas as a member of Phi Beta Kappa.

1948

Mr. Mordy becomes a member of the Michigan Law Review.

1950

Mr. Mordy receives a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Michigan.

1950

Mr. Mordy is admitted to practice law in the states of Missouri and Kansas and becomes an associate at Morrison, Hecker, Buck, Cozad & Rogers in Kansas City, Missouri.

1951

Mr. Mordy is recalled to active duty in the U.S. Naval Reserve for 26 months.

Mr. Mordy studies postgraduate courses at George Washington University.
