Dr. McQuarrie receives a Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Utah.

Dr. McQuarrie receives a Doctor of Medicine from Cornell University.

Dr. McQuarrie becomes an intern, assistant surgeon, and then surgeon at New York Hospital in New York City.

Dr. McQuarrie becomes a research fellow in the Department of Physiology at Cornell University Medical College in New York City.

Dr. McQuarrie serves as a commander in the Medical Corps of the United States Naval Reserve.

1976

Dr. McQuarrie becomes an assistant professor of physiology and surgery at Cornell University Medical College.
