Dr. Hulka receives a Bachelor of Science from Radcliffe College.

1954

Dr. Hulka marries Jaroslav Fabian Hulka.

1954

Dr. Hulka receives a Master of Science from The Juilliard School.

1959

Dr. Hulka receives a Doctor of Medicine from Columbia University.

1961

Dr. Hulka receives a Master of Public Health from Columbia University.

1966

Dr. Hulka becomes a research assistant professor at University of Pittsburgh.

1967

Dr. Hulka becomes an assistant professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

1972

Dr. Hulka is promoted to associate professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

1977

Dr. Hulka is promoted to full professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

1978

Dr. Hulka becomes a travel study fellow of the World Health Organization.

Dr. Hulka is appointed chairman of the epidemiology department at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Dr. Hulka joins the Board of Directors of the American Cancer Society.

Dr. Hulka serves as the associate editor of Cancer Epidemiology, Biomakers and Prevention.

2001

Dr. Hulka earns the title of Professor Emerita at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
