Ms. Moore is born in East Meadow, New York.

1965

Ms. Moore receives a Bachelor of Science in physical education from Morgan State University.

1965

Ms. Moore visits Nigeria as a Peace Corp volunteer.

1972

Ms. Moore receives a Master of Science in education and counseling from Hofstra University.

1972

Ms. Moore travels to Puerto Rico with the president of Delta Sigma Theta, Dr. Dorothy Heights visiting schools, prisons, museums, and libraries.

1975

Ms. Moore founds the Alliance Junior Tennis Development Program to introduce tennis to children in her community.

2010

Ms. Moore serves as an Ambassador for the People to People Program.

2015

Ms. Moore receives a doctorate degree with honors from Morgan State University.

2015

Ms. Moore receives the Women of Distinction Award from Nassau County.

2017

Ms. Moore is honored with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award and is named a Distinguished Humanitarian by Marquis Who’s Who.
