1977

Earns a Bachelor of Science in natural science from the John Hopkins University.

1979

Achieves a Master of Science in general special education with an emphasis on developmental disabilities from the John Hopkins University.

1984

Obtains a Doctor of Medicine from the George Washington School of Medicine.

1987

Conducts an internship and residency in family medicine and women’s health at the Medical College of Virginia.

1987

Becomes the founder, owner, medical director and physician of Sollay, continuing in the roles.

1995

Is an American Academy of Family Practice Fellow.

1998

Is a diplomat of the American Board of Forensic Medicine.

2000

Becomes a fellow of the American College of Forensic Examiners.

2006

Becomes the president and co-founder of Sollay Kenyan Foundation.

2008

Is a certified medical doctor by the American Medical Directors Association.

2015

Becomes a fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Physicians.

2021

Co-authors the paper “Reopening America” with Dr. Jack Greiner.

2021

Receives the E.O. Martin Award from the American Board of Physician Specialties.
