Earns a Bachelor of Science in elementary education from Lamar University.

1964

Marries Thomas David Pearson on February 1 and teaches at Kirbyville Ind. School District in Texas.

1964

Teaches at Gonzales Elementary School in Louisiana until 1966.

1966

Teaches at Dixie Elementary School in Lexington, KY until 1970.

1984

Teaches at Roanoke Elementary School in Texas until 1985.

1990

Is president-elect of the Denton County Women’s Club through 1991.

1992

Is a gifted and talented coordinator at Denton Ind. School District in Texas until 1996.

1994

Serves on the board of directors of the City/County Day School in Denton, TX.

1994

Is chairman of ball invitations for the Benefit League in Denton, TX.

1996

Serves on the board of directors of St. Michael’s Academy in Bryan, TX until 1997.

1997

Teaches at Southwood Valley Elementary School until 2000.

2003

Is selected to be a tutor of “Civics and Citizenship” for the U.S. Department of State as a teaching diplomat to Russia through 2005.
