1937

Ms. Alcon is born in Orange City, Iowa to Albert Lee and Clarice Victoria deBey Gerard.

1959

Ms. Alcon receives a Bachelor of Arts from Western Maryland College (now McDaniel College).

1959

Ms. Alcon becomes a caseworker at Springfield State Hospital in Sykesville, Maryland.

1961

Ms. Alcon gives birth to her son, Russell Lee.

1963

Ms. Alcon gives birth to her daughter, Cheryl Lynn.

1965

Ms. Alcon gives birth to her son, Kurt Joseph.

1966

Ms. Alcon is appointed director of the Social Work Department of Hanover General Hospital in Pennsylvania.

1973

Ms. Alcon receives a Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland.

1975

Ms. Alcon is certified through the Academy of Certified Social Workers.

1977

Ms. Alcon serves as a consultant for the Hanover Visiting Nurse Association.

1979

Ms. Alcon receives the York Daily Record Exceptional Citizen Award.

1981

Ms. Alcon becomes active in the first of five Masonic orders.

1985

Ms. Alcon marries David Edward Alcon.

1987

Ms. Alcon becomes a clinical associate professor at the School of Social Work and Social Planning at the University of Maryland.

1996

Ms. Alcon retires as a medical social worker.

1999

Ms. Alcon is presented with the Companion of the Temple Award by the Grand Encampment of the Knights of Templar.

2000

Ms. Alcon now has three grandsons and three granddaughters.

2006

Ms. Alcon is installed as the Supreme Worthy President of Supreme Assembly within the Social Order of the Beauceant.

2013

Ms. Alcon becomes a member of the Blue Star Mothers of America.

2019

Ms. Alcon is active in Order of the Eastern Star, Order of the Amaranth, Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem, and the Social Order of the Beauceant.
