Ms. Gordon is born in Newton, New Jersey to Kenneth William and Hazel Emma Gordon.

1956

Ms. Gordon becomes a member of Sparta United Methodist Church.

1963

Ms. Gordon studies at Centenary College (now Centenary University).

1963

Ms. Gordon receives the Creative Writing Award from Centenary University.

1967

Ms. Gordon receives a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics, chemistry, and history from Drew University.

1968

Ms. Gordon becomes a mathematics teacher at Sparta High School in Sparta, New Jersey.

1969

Ms. Gordon is certified as a secondary school mathematics teacher for grades seven through 12 through the State Board of Examiners of the State of New Jersey.

1970

Ms. Gordon receives a Master of Education from Montclair State University.

2000

Ms. Gordon becomes a preschool teacher aide at Circle of Friends Preschool in Sparta, New Jersey.

2017

Ms. Gordon is honored with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award from Marquis Who’s Who.
