Dr. Robinson is born in Hinsdale, Illinois to Lee Fulton Higman and Freda Margaret Higman.

1965

Dr. Robinson receives a Bachelor of Arts in German and Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.

1966

Dr. Robinson is certified in general secondary teaching credential through the University of California, Berkeley and becomes a secondary teacher for Berkeley Unified School District.

1974

Dr. Robinson receives a Master of Arts from Stanford University in Palo Alto, California.

1975

Dr. Robinson becomes a teaching evaluator for the School of Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.

1978

Dr. Robinson receives a Doctor of Philosophy from The Ohio State University and becomes a lecturer and curriculum evaluator at California State Polytechnic University in Pomona, California.

1980

Dr. Robinson becomes a federal program evaluator in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

1982

Dr. Robinson becomes a teacher in education and a coordinator in the field of education for the Graduate School of Education at Stanford University.

1986

Dr. Robinson becomes a reading specialist for East Side Union High School District in San Jose, California.

1987

Dr. Robinson teaches German, English as a second language, and American literature, becomes an instructional coach for beginning teachers, and is appointed chair of the Department of Foreign Language at Centinela Valley Union High School in Lawndale, California.

1988

Dr. Robinson becomes a certified school administrator through California State University in Long Beach, California.

2002

Dr. Robinson marries Doug Fladek.
