Mr. Scherr is born in Strasburg, North Dakota to Frank M. and Elizabeth Scherr.

1954

Mr. Scherr receives a Bachelor of Science from Northern State Teachers College (now Northern State University) in Aberdeen, North Dakota.

1954

Mr. Scherr becomes a mathematics teacher at Sisseton High School in Sisseton, South Dakota.

1956

Mr. Scherr becomes a mathematics teacher at Campbell County High School in Gillette, Wyoming.

1958

Mr. Scherr receives a Master of Science from Northern State Teachers College (now Northern State University).

1958

Mr. Scherr studies postgraduate courses at the Academy Year Institute of the University of Utah.

1959

Mr. Scherr becomes a mathematics teacher at East High School in Laramie County School District 1 in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

1959

Mr. Scherr serves as secretary-treasurer of the Wyoming Education Association.

1964

Mr. Scherr is appointed Chairman of the Board of Buffalo Ridge Recreation in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

1971

Mr. Scherr serves as president of the PTA at Buffalo Ridge School.

1978

Mr. Scherr serves as president of the East High Band Parent Organization.

1982

Over the next 12 years, Mr. Scherr serves as chairman, vice chairman, secretary, treasurer and past president of the Cheyenne Schools Federal Credit Union.

1984

Mr. Scherr receives the Presidential Excellence Award from the state of Wyoming.

1995

Mr. Scherr becomes an adjunct professor at Laramie Count Community College.

2000

Mr. Scherr serves as a volunteer mathematics tutor at Grace United Methodist Church.
