1999

Ms. Ogburn becomes associate director of libraries, resources and collection management services at the University of Washington.

2000

Ms. Ogburn co-authors “Developing a Consortial Approach to Cataloging and Intellectual Access,” published in “Library Acquisitions, Collections and Technical Services.”

2001

Ms. Ogburn is selected for the University of California Los Angeles Senior Fellow program.

2005

Ms. Ogburn is appointed dean and university librarian of the J. Willard Marriott Library at the University of Utah.

2008

Ms. Ogburn authors “Defining and Achieving Success in the Movement to Change Scholarly Communication,” published in “Library Resources and Technical Services.”

2010

Ms. Ogburn authors “The Imperative for Data Curation,” published in “Portal: Libraries and the Academy.”

2011

Ms. Ogburn becomes special assistant to the senior vice president of academic affairs at the University of Utah.

Ms. Ogburn is elected president of the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL).

Ms. Ogburn becomes a professor and digital strategies and partnerships librarian at Appalachian State University.

2018

Ms. Ogburn serves as an intellectual property consultant for Appalachian State University.

2019

Ms. Ogburn retires from Appalachian State University and becomes principal and founder of FarView Insights.
