1945

Ms. Rosher is born in Safety Harbor, Florida to John Louis and Alberta Rosher.

1950

Ms. Rosher attends Williams Elementary School in Clearwater, Florida.

1964

Ms. Rosher graduates from Lincoln Park Academy in Fort Pierce, Florida.

1966

Ms. Rosher receives an Associate of Science from Indian River Community College.

1967

Ms. Rosher is employed as a cytotechnologist at Halifax Hospital Medical Center (now Halifax Health Medical Center) in Daytona Beach, Florida.

1978

Ms. Rosher becomes a cytotechnologist at Association Medical Laboratories in Ormond Beach, Florida. She is also accepted into the Nursing Program at Bethune-Cookman College (now Bethune-Cookman University) in Daytona Beach, Florida.

1984

Ms. Rosher graduates from Bethune-Cookman College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

1985

Ms. Rosher serves as a nurse at North Miami General Hospital in Miami, Florida.

1987

Ms. Rosher is employed as a registered nurse at Ormond Memorial Hospital in Ormond Beach, Florida.

1989

Ms. Rosher is employed as a registered nurse at Daytona Beach Geriatric Center in Daytona Beach, Florida.

1990

Ms. Rosher joins the Daytona Beach Black Nurses Association in Daytona Beach, Florida.

1994

Ms. Rosher is employed as a registered nurse at the Volusia County Health Department in Daytona Beach, Florida.

1996

Ms. Rosher joins the Hope Fellowship Church in Daytona Beach, Florida.

1997

Ms. Rosher becomes a member of the Daytona Beach Chapter of Sisters Alive, a breast cancer awareness association in Daytona Beach, Florida.

2003

Ms. Rosher serves as a Civil War reenactor. She plays the character, Susie King Taylor, a Civil War nurse with Voices of Pride Reenactors.

2009

Ms. Rosher plays the character Susie King Taylor in the documentary, “Filling the Gap: Forgotten Chapter of American History.” The film is nominated for an NAACP Image Award in 2011.

2011

Ms. Rosher retires from the Volusia County Health Department in Daytona Beach, Florida.

2015

Ms. Rosher becomes a member of the East Central Florida chapter of the Genealogy Society.

2017

Ms. Rosher volunteers with the Rise Up Learning Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. She also becomes a board member of the Salvation & Deliverance Outreach Ministry.

2018

Ms. Rosher is consecrated to serve as a Mother at Hope Fellowship Church in Daytona Beach, Florida. She is also honored with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award from Marquis Who’s Who.
