Dr. Moffet is born in Monmouth, Illinois to Victor Logue and Helen Moffet.

1953

Dr. Moffet receives a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University.

1953

Dr. Moffet serves as a Captain in the United States Army Reserve.

1957

Dr. Moffet receives a Doctor of Medicine from Yale University.

1957

Dr. Moffet becomes an instructor at Bowman Gray School of Medicine (now Bowman Gray Center for Medical Education) in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

1963

Dr. Moffet becomes an assistant professor at Northwestern University.

1963

Dr. Moffet is appointed Head of the Division of Infectious Diseases at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.

1968

Dr. Moffet is promoted to associate professor at Northwestern University.

1971

Dr. Moffet becomes an associate professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

1975

Dr. Moffet is promoted to full professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
