Achieves a Master of Laws in taxation from New York University and is admitted to the D.C. Bar.

Serves as director of the Small Business Council America until 1985.

Serves on the legal advisory board of the Small Business Council America and continues in the role.

Receives the Red Cross Legacy Award.
