Born in Baltimore, MD to parents Gordon and Alice.

1964

Earns a BS in Chemistry from Loyola University Maryland.

1967

Earns an MS in Organic Chemistry from the Carnegie Institute of Technology.

1968

Earns a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Carnegie Mellon University.

1968

Begins publishing articles in professional journals, submitting over 60 to date.

1969

Undertakes postdoctoral studies in nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) at the Ohio State University until 1970.

1970

Joins Amoco BP until 1999, ultimately reaching the position of senior research scientist.

2000

Is a senior research scientist for the NMR laboratory at Baxter International Inc. until 2019.

2012

Is a founding member and chair of first three meetings of Practical Applications of NMR in Industry Conference (PANIC).

2016

Is elected as first president of PANIC Inc.

2018

Is the chairperson of the Chicago Area NMR Discussion Group through 2023.

2019

Is a consultant at Baxter International Inc. through today.

2019

Is an NMR spectrocopist for the department of pharmacology at the University of Illinois at Chicago through today.
