Receives a Bachelor of Arts in foreign languages (Spanish and French) from Park College.

1962

Receives a Master of Arts in Spanish from the University of British Columbia.

1967

Becomes an instructor of modern languages at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York.

1968

Receives a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Rochester.

1971

Becomes an associate professor of modern languages at St. John Fisher College.

1972

Appointed chairman of the Department of Modern Languages at St. John Fisher College.

1972
