Mr. Manterfield is born in New York City, New York to Erskine Walker and Louise Ruth Manterfield.

1969

Mr. Manterfield receives a Bachelor of Arts from Denison University.

1972

Mr. Manterfield receives a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Michigan.

1972

Mr. Manterfield is admitted to practice in the state of Indiana and in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana.

1972

Mr. Manterfield becomes an associate at Barnes & Thornburg (formerly Barnes, Hickam, Pantzer & Boyd) in Indianapolis, Indiana.

1975

Mr. Manterfield becomes trust officer for J.P. Morgan Chase (formerly American Fletcher National Bank) in Indianapolis, Indiana.

1976

Mr. Manterfield becomes manager of the Probate Department at J.P. Morgan Chase.

1977

Mr. Manterfield becomes an adjunct professor of law at Indiana University School of Law (now Maurer School of Law) in Bloomington, Indiana.

Mr. Manterfield is admitted to practice in the U.S. Tax Court.
