Dr. Ikar Kalogjera is born in Zagreb, Croatia, to Biserka Erak and Jaksa Jakov Kalogjera.

1970

Dr. Kalogjera earns a medical degree from the University of Zagreb in Croatia.

1972

Dr. Kalogjera immigrates to the United States from Croatia.

1972

Dr. Kalogjera acts as a resident in psychiatry at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Wauwatosa.

1974

Dr. Kalogjera is a fellow in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Cincinnati.

1976

Dr. Kalogjera marries Araceli Colina Cabaron.

1976

Dr. Kalogjera establishes a private psychiatry practice in Rockford, Illinois.

1979

Dr. Kalogjera becomes the director of the adolescent in-patient unit at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

1981

Dr. Kalogjera establishes a private practice in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, where he focuses on adult, child, and adolescent psychiatry.

Dr. Kalogjera establishes and leads the Milwaukee Group for the Advancement of Self-Psychology.

Dr. Kalogjera becomes an honorary staff member at Aurora Psychiatric Hospital in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.

Dr. Kalogjera assumes a professorship in psychiatry at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
