Dr. Korn receives a Bachelor of Science in mathematics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI).

1967

Dr. Korn marries Susan Lyn Weiner.

1968

Dr. Korn becomes a fellow of the National Science Foundation.

1969

Dr. Korn receives a Doctor of Philosophy in mathematics from the Courant Institute of Mathematical Studies in New York.

1969

Dr. Korn becomes a research associate at New York University.

1971

Dr. Korn is promoted to senior research scientist at New York University.

1973

Dr. Korn co-authors “Supercritical Wing Sections,” as well as its third edition, written in 1976.

Dr. Korn becomes a Member of Technical Staff at Bell Laboratories in Holmdel, New Jersey.
