1967

Dr. Neill receives a Bachelor of Science in biology from Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida.

1968

Dr. Neill marries Suzanne Snyder.

1971

Dr. Neill receives a Doctor of Philosophy in biopsychology from The University of Chicago.

1971

Dr. Neill becomes an instructor of psychology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

1972

Dr. Neill is promoted to assistant professor of psychology at Emory University.

1975

Dr. Neill is promoted to associate professor of psychology at Emory University.

1981

Dr. Neill becomes a collaborative scientist at the Yerkes Regional Primate Research Center (now the Yerkes National Primate Research Center) at Emory University.

1981

Dr. Neill becomes a faculty member of the graduate program in pharmacological and physiological sciences at Emory University.

1985

Dr. Neill becomes a faculty member of the graduate program in neuroscience at Emory University.
