Ms. Parks is born in Miami, Florida to Jack Moore and Anne Moore.

Ms. Parks studies at Florida State University.

Ms. Parks receives a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida and becomes a teacher at Rollingcrest Junior High School in West Hyattsville, Maryland.

Ms. Parks becomes a teacher at Miami Edison Senior High School.

Ms. Parks serves as a graduate assistant at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida.

Ms. Parks becomes a teacher at Everglades School for Girls (now Ransom Everglades School) in Miami, Florida.
