Dr. Arrott receives a Bachelor of Science from the Carnegie Institute of Technology (now Carnegie Mellon University).
1950
Dr. Arrott receives a Master of Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
1953
Dr. Arrott becomes a faculty member at the Carnegie Institute of Technology.
1954
Dr. Arrott receives a Doctor of Philosophy from the Carnegie Institute of Technology.
1956
Dr. Arrott becomes a researcher at Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan.
1968
Dr. Arrott becomes a full professor of physics at Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada.

Dr. Arrott receives a Gold Medal from the Science Council of British Columbia.
1986
Dr. Arrott receives a Medal of Achievement from the Canadian Association of Physicists.
