Ms. Yoder is born in Beach City, Ohio to Abram and Barbara Yoder.

1966

Ms. Yoder receives a Bachelor of Science from Eastern Mennonite College.

1966

Ms. Yoder becomes a teacher in Garrett County Public Schools in Oakland, Maryland.

1970

Ms. Yoder is appointed principal of the elementary in Garrett County Public Schools.

1974

Ms. Yoder receives a Master of Education from Frostburg State College (now Frostburg State University). She also becomes a teacher in East Holmes Local Schools in Berlin, Ohio.

1974

Ms. Yoder becomes a sustaining member of The Wilderness Center in Wilmot, Ohio.

1982

Ms. Yoder becomes a consultant in bilingual education for East Holmes Local Schools.

1983

Ms. Yoder becomes a Jennings Scholar at the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation.

1983

Ms. Yoder becomes a supporting member of the German Culture Museum in Berlin, Ohio.

1985

Ms. Yoder becomes a life member of the Amish & Mennonite Heritage Center in Holmes County, Ohio.

1986

Ms. Yoder receives the Silver Poet Award from the World of Poetry.

1989

Ms. Yoder joins the Holmes County Historical Society in Millersburg, Ohio.

1994

Ms. Yoder is appointed vice president of the Holmes County chapter of the American Association of University Women (AAUW).

1998

Ms. Yoder is appointed president of The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International.

2017

Ms. Yoder is honored with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award from Marquis Who’s Who.
