Dr. Porter receives a Doctor of Medicine from the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California.

Dr. Porter is certified as a Diplomate by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Dr. Porter becomes Chief of the Division of Neurology at the UCLA/Santa Monica Medical Center.

Dr. Porter becomes a Clinical Professor of Neurology in the Department of Neurology at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Dr. Porter joins the National Association of Professional Women.

Dr. Porter becomes the Director of Dementia, Alzheimer’s Disease, and Neurocognitive Disorders Programs at the Pacific Brain Health Center of the Pacific Neuroscience Institute, an affiliate of Providence Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, California.
