1934

Mr. Dale is born in Fayetteville, Arkansas to Gilbert and Arna Dale.

1956

Mr. Dale receives a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado and begins his career as a teacher in Pueblo, Colorado.

1962

Mr. Dale receives a Master of Arts from Colorado College and serves as a teacher at Barcelona Elementary School in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

1963

Mr. Dale becomes a teacher in Aurora, Colorado.

1966

Mr. Dale serves as a coordinator for the Title I Program.

1968

Mr. Dale studies at the Center for Professional Development at the University of Denver.

1971

Mr. Dale becomes a principal in Aurora, Colorado.

1982

Mr. Dale serves as an instructor at Metropolitan State College (now the Metropolitan State University of Denver) in Denver, Colorado.

1987

Mr. Dale receives a Master of Arts from the University of Colorado.

1990

Mr. Dale retires from the field of education.

1993

Mr. Dale joins the board of directors of the University of Colorado Alumni Association.

1997

Mr. Dale receives the Elizabeth Johnson Award.

2000

Mr. Dale serves as president of the Colorado School & Public Employees Retirement Association.

2007

Mr. Dale receives the Aurora History Makers Award.
