1942

Is born in Washington, DC to parents James and Kathryn.

1965

Earns a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Dayton.

1965

Completes training through the Reserve Officers Training Corps.

1966

Is commissioned as a second lieutenant and serves as an artillery officer during the Vietnam War.

1967

Serves as aide-de-camp to the First Field Force Artillery Commanding General in South Vietnam.

1968

Is a contributing editor to “Field Artillery Cannon Gunnery” for U.S. Army Field Manual 630.

1969

Is recognized as a Top Gunnery Instructor by the U.S. Army Field Artillery School.

1970

Is deployed to South Korea until 1971.

1971

Is an associate professor of military science for ROTC students at the University of Toledo until 1974.

1974

Receives a Master of Business Administration from the University of Toledo.

1992

Retires from the U.S. Army at the rank of colonel.

1998

Serves as a research analyst at SAIC and advances from the role of a research analyst to a program manager at Northrop Grumman through 2009.

2009

Commences his retirement.
