Receives the Beatrice Craig Library Science Award.

1960

Earns a Bachelor of Science in library science and English from Sam Houston State University.

Earns a Master of Arts in library science from Texas Woman’s University.

Writes “The History of Sam Houston State Teachers College as Reflected in the Library and the Library Science Department.”

1970

Serves as the director of public services at Sam Houston State University Library in Huntsville, TX.

1972

Is a librarian at the Sam Houston State University library through 1972.
