Mr. Kenyon is born in Norfolk, Virginia.
1970
Mr. Kenyon receives the Raymond Taylor Award for Excellence in the Performing Arts from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNC Greensboro).
1976
Mr. Kenyon receives a Bachelor of Arts in communications, drama, and speech from UNC Greensboro.
1980
Mr. Kenyon studies courses in humanistic counseling and breath work.
1983
Mr. Kenyon receives a Master of Arts in psychological counseling from Columbia Pacific University and becomes certified in whole brain learning at the John David Learning Institute in Carlsbad, California.
1983
Mr. Kenyon becomes a psychotherapist and founds Acoustic Brain Research as an informal association of researchers to study the effects of sound and music on the brain.
1984
Mr. Kenyon studies postgraduate coursework in Ericksonian medical hypnosis at the Southeast Institute in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
1993
Mr. Kenyon hosts Psycho-Acoustic Immersion seminars.
2017
Mr. Kenyon is honored with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award and is named a Distinguished Humanitarian by Marquis Who’s Who.
