Dr. Faller is born in Louisville, Kentucky to Louis Joseph and Katherine Thompson Faller.

Dr. Faller receives a Bachelor of Arts from St. Mary’s College.
1964
Dr. Faller receives a Master of Arts from Xavier University.

Dr. Faller begins his career as an instructor at the University of Portland, where he is eventually promoted to full professor.
1968
Dr. Faller studies in Salzburg, Austria as a Fulbright Fellow.
1969
Dr. Faller receives a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Salzburg in Austria.

Dr. Faller authors “Axiology: F. Brentano.”
1991
Dr. Faller joins the Animal Research Review Committee of Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon, where he also serves as a visiting professor.

Dr. Faller is appointed chair of the executive committee of the National Association of Boards of Education of the National Catholic Educational Association.

Dr. Faller is named the John F. Kennedy Man of the Year by Knights of Columbus in Portland, Oregon.

Dr. Faller is appointed chair of the privacy board at Providence Health Systems.
