Is an English, speech and writing teacher until 2004.

Serves as president of Chippewa Valley Press Association, part of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, until 1968.

1968

Marries his wife, Dorothy.

1985

Achieves a Master of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

1988

Becomes a member of the Freemasons.

1993

Serves as president of the Marshfield Education Association until 1995.

1995

Receives an Acoustic Neuroma Award for Writing.

1995

Contributes “What’s Poppin” to Scope Magazine, Scholastic Publishing.

1995

Contributes “The Golden Apple” to The Wisconsin English Journal and the Acoustic Neuroma Journal.

1996

Receives the Richard W. Halle Award for Outstanding Middle Level Educators.

Serves as president of the Acoustic Neuroma Association of Wisconsin Inc. until 2023.

Receives the Tom Hayes Memorial Award for Excellence in Teacher Education from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point College of Professional Studies.

Commences his retirement.
