Is a deputy county clerk for Breckenridge County in Kentucky until 1988.

1984

Earns a Bachelor of Arts in education and history at the University of Kentucky and teaches at Fayette County Public Schools until 1994.

1984

Serves as president, founder, and advisor of the Breckenridge County Historical Society until 1985.

1985

Is an advisor to the Breckenridge County Archives Commission until 1988.

Earns a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Kentucky and is admitted to practice law by the Kentucky Bar Association.
