1999

Is a member of the Phi Theta Honor Society until 2001.

2001

Earns an associate degree in social work from Jackson Community College.

2001

Is one of two chosen out of 6,000 to represent Jackson Community College for the All-USA Academic Team, receiving a gold medal and recognition in Lansing, MI.

2003

Achieves a bachelor’s degree in social work from Spring Arbor University.

2003

Is a medical social worker for the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice in Jackson, MI until 2022.

2004

Becomes a member of the National Association of Social Workers.

2005

Receives a Certificate in Contemporary Issues in Aging and Senior Services.

2005

Interns at Duane Waters Prison Hospital while working in hospice and attending classes until 2007.

Obtains a Master of Social Work in clinical/medical social work from Michigan State University.
