Mr. Newton serves with the Counter Intelligence Corps of the U.S. Army in Korea.

1955

Mr. Newton marries Marja H. Newton.

1958

Mr. Newton receives a Bachelor of Laws from Yale College.

Mr. Newton is admitted to practice in the state of Illinois and becomes an associate at Kirkland & Ellis in Chicago, Illinois.

1964

Mr. Newton becomes partner at Kirkland & Ellis.
