Dr. Taylor marries Cynthia Hatch Taylor and receives a Bachelor of Engineering with honors from the University of Western Australia.
1958
Dr. Taylor is appointed president of the board of directors of Hackett Overseas.
1960
Dr. Taylor serves as an overseas scholar at the Commonwealth Scientific Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) in Australia.
1961
Dr. Taylor receives a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of London and becomes a lecturer in electrical engineering at the University of Sydney.

Dr. Taylor becomes a technical staff member at RCA Laboratories in Princeton, New Jersey.
