Dr. Valentine becomes a teacher for Vineland Public Schools.

Dr. Valentine becomes director of Camp Kimble and an Appalachian Trail Guide with the Boy Scouts of America.
1965
Dr. Valentine receives a Master of Arts from Glassboro State College.

Dr. Valentine becomes principal and supervisor of Vineland Public Schools.
1974
Dr. Valentine becomes an adjunct instructor at Glassboro State College.
1977
Dr. Valentine is appointed director of Thorough and Efficient Education and Supplementary Programs for Vineland Public Schools.
1980
Dr. Valentine receives a Doctor of Education from Nova University.
1981
Dr. Valentine becomes an adjunct instructor at Jersey City State College.
1983
Dr. Valentine receives the Citizen of the Year Award from the Greater Vineland Chamber of Commerce.
1988
Dr. Valentine becomes a Diplomate in school administration through the New Jersey Association of School Administrators.
1993
Dr. Valentine is appointed superintendent of Vineland Public Schools and joins the Board of Directors of the Vineland Library.
1997
Dr. Valentine retires as an educational administrator.

Dr. Valentine receives the New Jersey Environmental Education Lifetime Achievement Award.

Dr. Valentine receives the New Jersey Council Lifetime Achievement Award from the Boy Scouts of America.

Dr. Valentine receives the Dr. Martin Luther King “I Have a Dream” Award from the NAACP.

Dr. Valentine is named a Vineland Hometown Hero.

Dr. Valentine becomes a Lifetime Member of the Cumberland County Historical Society.

Dr. Valentine receives the Lifetime Achievement Award from Rowan University.
