Dr. Kroll is born in Chicago, Illinois to Witold Charles Kroll and Lillian Mary Kroll.

Dr. Kroll receives a diploma from Patrick High School in Chicago.

Dr. Kroll receives the Science Award from Bausch & Lomb Incorporated.
1970
Dr. Kroll graduates cum laude from Bradley University, receiving a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering. He also begins his career as a development engineer at Western Electric Corporation.
1973
Dr. Kroll receives a Master of Science in industrial engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
1974
Dr. Kroll becomes a plant manager at Junis Manufacturing Company.
1977
Dr. Kroll becomes planning engineer of new product development at the Western Electric Division of AT&T.
1981
Dr. Kroll becomes Professor of industrial and manufacturing engineering at Bradley University.
1989
Dr. Kroll receives a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Illinois.
1990
Dr. Kroll receives the Laboratory Development Award from SME.
1994
Dr. Kroll becomes a founding alderman of the City of West Peoria, Illinois.

Dr. Kroll becomes a founding editor of the Journal of Industrial Engineering Design.
