Dr. Wolf is born in Kearney, Nebraska to Harry and Irene Wolf.

1943

Dr. Wolf serves in the U.S. Army as a first lieutenant stationed in Japan.

1945

Dr. Wolf receives a Bachelor of Science from the University of Nebraska.

1946

Dr. Wolf works with the Department of Agriculture.

1949

Dr. Wolf receives a Doctor of Philosophy in agronomy and weed control from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.

1949

Dr. Wolf becomes an associate professor of agronomy at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.

1950

Dr. Wolf works with DuPont de Nemours, Inc.

1951

Dr. Wolf co-authors “Principles of Weed Control.”

1972

Dr. Wolf becomes director of Agrichemical Marketing and later, general manager of the Biochemical Department at DuPont de Nemours, Inc.

1979

Dr. Wolf becomes chairman of the Subsidiary Board and vice president of biochemistry at Endo Pharmaceuticals Inc. in Wilmington, Delaware.

1983

Dr. Wolf becomes group vice president of Agricultural Products in Wilmington, Delaware.

1987

Dr. Wolf becomes director of the Delaware Development Office in Dover, Delaware.

1989

Dr. Wolf is elected Lieutenant Governor of the State of Delaware.

1992

Dr. Wolf is elected Governor of the State of Delaware.

1998

Dr. Wolf becomes vice president of the Wilmington Savings Fund Society, FSB.

2002

Dr. Wolf becomes a trustee of the Christiana Care Health System.

2005

Dr. Wolf receives the Josiah Marvel Award from the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce, Inc.

2007

Dr. Wolf receives the Liberty Bell Award from the Delaware State Bar Association.

2017

Dr. Wolf is honored with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award from Marquis Who’s Who.

2019

Dr. Wolf receives an honorary Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Delaware.
