1951

Dr. McCullagh is born to Charles Weston and Suzanne Lord Folds.

1972

Dr. McCullagh serves as an intern at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

1973

Dr. McCullagh receives a Bachelor of Arts from Smith College from Northampton, Massachusetts.

1974

Dr. McCullagh receives a Master of Arts from Harvard University and becomes the curatorial assistant in charge at Harvard University.

1975

Dr. McCullagh becomes a curatorial assistant in the Department of Prints and Drawings at the Art Institute of Chicago.

1979

Dr. McCullagh is promoted to assistant curator in the Department of Prints and Drawings at the Art Institute of Chicago.

1980

Dr. McCullagh becomes a coordinator of self study and long range planning at the Art Institute of Chicago.

1981

Dr. McCullagh receives a Doctor of Philosophy from Harvard University.

1982

Dr. McCullagh joins the board of directors of the Print Council of American.

1985

Dr. McCullagh is promoted to associate curator at the Art Institute of Chicago.

1987

Dr. McCullagh becomes the Anne Vogt Fuller and Marion Titus Searle Curator in the Department of Earlier Prints and Drawings at the Art Institute of Chicago.

1987

Dr. McCullagh is appointed chairman of the Art Committee at North Shore Country Day School in Winnetka, Illinois.

1995

Dr. McCullagh is appointed director of the Harvard Club in Chicago, Illinois.

2000

Dr. McCullagh joins The Arts Club of Chicago.

2004

Dr. McCullagh serves as trustee and chairman of the Parents Association at Groton School.

2005

Dr. McCullagh serves on the Indemnification Panel for the National Endowment for the Arts.

2011

Dr. McCullagh becomes the Anne Vogt Fuller and Marion Titus Seale Chair at the Art Institute of Chicago.

2012

Dr. McCullagh is named a Clarence Kennedy Distinguished Professor at Smith College.

2016

Dr. McCullagh is appointed director of the Gray Collection Trust.

2018

Dr. McCullagh joins the Drawing Committee at Harvard Art Museums.
