1970

Receives a U.S. Air Force College Scholarship to attend Arizona State University.

1971

Earns a Bachelor of Science in aeronautical technology from Arizona State University; Begins flying Cessna T-37 and T-38 aircraft for the U.S. Air Force.

1972

Is an undergraduate pilot-in-training for the U.S. Air Force.

1973

Attends U.S. Air Force Instructor Pilot School; Is an instructor pilot for the Cessna T-37 for the U.S. Air Force until 1976.

1975

Is recognized as an Outstanding Instructor Pilot of the Quarter.

1976

Is the commander of B-57 and EB-57 aircraft for the U.S. Air Force until 1978; Receives a commendation medal for outstanding service.

1976

Attends U.S. Air Force Squadron Officer’s School.

1978

Attends Braniff Flight Engineer Ground School in Dallas, TX.

1979

Is an aircraft commander for the Montana Air National Guard until 1993.

1981

Serves as a pilot-in-command for various planes on behalf of D.A. Davidson & Co until 1994.

1982

Is a first officer for Montana Power Co. until 1983 and a pilot-in-command for Rocky Mountain Air Inc. until 1984.

1986

Attends the U.S. Air Force C-130 Aircraft Commander’s School.

1989

Is a first officer for U.S. Airways on various planes until 2002.

1991

Is a pilot-in-command for Morgen & Osgood Construction until 1996.

1993

Serves as a captain for the Lynch Flying Service until 1995.

1996

Is a captain for Executive Flight Inc. until 1998.

2016

Receives the Wright Brothers “Master Pilot” Award from the Federal Aviation Administration.
