Born to Maurice and Constance Antelo Heckscher in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

1952

Earns a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics from Harvard University.

1954

Earns a Master of Mathematics from Harvard University.

1958

Is a Fulbright scholar through 1959.

1959

Serves as an instructor at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey

1960

Earns a Doctor of Philsophy in mathematics from Harvard University.

1960

Transitions from instructor to professor of mathematics at Swarthmore (Pennsylvania) College where he teaches until 1980.

1966

Becomes a National Science Foundation Fellow through 1967.

1980

Becomes a naturalist and conservation biologist with Natural Lands Trust in Media, Pennsylvania.

1995

Is featured in the 25th edition of Who’s Who in the East.

2003

Retires from his profession.

2007

His publication of “Dorothy Kerin: Sign and Significance” appears in the Journal of Christian Healing.
