1967

Dr. Klegerman receives a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois.

1967

Dr. Klegerman becomes a research associate at the University of Chicago.

1969

Dr. Klegerman studies biochemistry at the University of Chicago.

1970

Dr. Klegerman becomes an assistant editor of Encyclopedia Britannica in Chicago, Illinois.

1973

Dr. Klegerman becomes a research associate at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois.

1979

Dr. Klegerman becomes a research associate at Evanston Hospital in Evanston, Illinois.

1980

Dr. Klegerman becomes a research investigator at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.

1981

Dr. Klegerman serves as co-investigator on the first of five grants from the National Institutes of Health.

1984

Dr. Klegerman receives a Doctor of Philosophy from Loyola University of Chicago.

Dr. Klegerman becomes an assistant professor of pharmaceutics at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Dr. Klegerman becomes editor of “Pharmaceutical Biotechnology: Fundamentals and Essentials.”

1996

Dr. Klegerman becomes president and chief executive officer of the Mid-Atlantic Biomedical Research Laboratory.

2000

Dr. Klegerman becomes president and chief executive officer of EchoDynamics, Inc.

2006

Dr. Klegerman becomes an associate professor in the departments of Medicine, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth).

2012

Dr. Klegerman becomes a founding member of Zymo Pharmaceuticals, LLC.

2013

Dr. Klegerman is promoted to full professor at UTHealth.

2014

Dr. Klegerman marries Maureen Goode, PhD.
