1939

Dr. Fraser is born in Lower Hutt, New Zealand to Donald James and Frances Rose Fraser.

1955

Dr. Fraser receives a school certificate from Hutt Valley High School in Lower Hutt, New Zealand.

1957

Dr. Fraser matriculates from North Sydney Boy’s High School.

1962

Dr. Fraser graduates with First Class honors from the University of Sydney, receiving a Bachelor of Science in veterinary science.

1963

Dr. Fraser becomes a teaching fellow in the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Sydney.

1967

Dr. Fraser receives a Doctor of Philosophy from Clare College at the University of Cambridge in England.

1967

Dr. Fraser joins the scientific staff of the Medical Research Council at the Dunn Nutritional Laboratory in Cambridge, England.

1973

Dr. Fraser serves as the editor of symposium proceedings for the Biochemical Society Special Publication.

1974

Dr. Fraser becomes an Appointed Member Unlimited of the Medical Research Council scientific staff at the Dunn Nutritional Laboratory.

1980

Dr. Fraser becomes editorial advisor of The Biochemical Journal.

1981

Dr. Fraser becomes senior grade in the Medical Research Council scientific staff at the Dunn Nutritional Laboratory.

1982

Dr. Fraser joins the editorial board of the British Journal of Nutrition.

1986

Dr. Fraser becomes a professor of animal husbandry (now animal science) at the University of Sydney.

1986

Dr. Fraser joins the editorial board of Bone and Material.

1988

Dr. Fraser receives the Rank International Prize in Nutrition.

1991

Dr. Fraser joins the editorial advisory committee of Encyclopedia Britannica.

1992
