Dr. Ferrell is born in South Bend, Indiana to Rupert Tyler and Beatrice Bradley Ferrell.

1965

Dr. Ferrell receives a Bachelor of Arts from DePauw University.

1969

Dr. Ferrell receives a Doctor of Medicine from Indiana University.

1969

Dr. Ferrell joins the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

1975

Dr. Ferrell is certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc.

1975

Dr. Ferrell becomes an assistant professor of psychiatry at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College.

1981

Dr. Ferrell is promoted to associate professor of psychiatry at the Geisel School of Medicine.

1982

Dr. Ferrell serves as the girls’ basketball coach for the Hanover Recreation Department in Hanover, New Hampshire.

1991

Dr. Ferrell becomes a board member of Opera North in Lebanon, New Hampshire.

2001

Dr. Ferrell is certified in geriatric psychiatry through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, Inc.

2006

Dr. Ferrell is certified as a diplomate in behavioral neurology and neuropsychiatry by the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties.

2010

Dr. Ferrell becomes an Electrical Fellow of the American Neuropsychiatric Association.

2017

Dr. Ferrell is honored with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award from Marquis Who’s Who.
