Attains a Bachelor of Science in geology, with a minor in history, from Wisconsin State University, as the first graduate of the newly-formed geology department.

Works at the United States Geological Survey in Menlo Park, CA, until 1971, during which time the first specimens from the moon were in residence.

Marries her husband, Royal Lee Chamberlain.
1971
Serves as a volunteer teacher for immigrants via the Army Community Services until 1975, enabling more than 600 enlisted soldiers, spouses and families to become citizens.
1975
Is a volunteer supervisor for 120 volunteers and 17 programs for incoming and outgoing military personnel and their families.
1980
Becomes a mother to two boys of the Vietnamese Children’s Boat Exodus.
1983
Joins the faculty staff at Monroe Community College, where she remains active through today.
2006
Earns a Master of Science in adult education, with an emphasis in diversity, from Buffalo State University.
2016
Receives the Innovation of the Year Award during Scholar’s Day.
2016
Serves as a senior technical assistant and online concierge at Monroe Community College through today on behalf of online students.

Participates in Train the Trainers.
