Ms. Sisk is born in Roanoke, Alabama to Arthur D. Benefield and Sollie Florence Riley.
1957
Ms. Sisk receives a Bachelor of Science from Auburn University.
1959
Ms. Sisk begins her career as a teacher at Brentwood Junior High School in Pensacola, Florida.
1961
Ms. Sisk receives a Master of Science from Auburn University.
1967
Ms. Sisk becomes a teacher at Woodham High School and an instructor at Pensacola State College.
1977
Ms. Sisk becomes the owner, secretary and treasurer of the board of directors at Electronic Communications South, Inc.
1981
Ms. Sisk becomes a coordinator for the Fashion Merchandising Program at Pensacola Junior College.
1982
Ms. Sisk authors the “Textiles Lab Manual and Study Guide” and is appointed president of the West Florida Home Economics Association.
1983
Ms. Sisk authors the “Fashion Internship Manual.”
1990
Ms. Sisk authors “Clothing Design, A Programmed Manuel.”
1993
Ms. Sisk retires as a professor of consumer education.
