Ms. Busse is born in San Francisco, California to Erich Paul Busse and Alwine Busse.

Ms. Busse receives a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley.

Ms. Busse joins the U.S. Army as a Personnel Staff Officer.

Ms. Busse is commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army.
