Dr. Rogers is born in Colchester, Vermont to Watson Frank and Marguerite Mortimer Rogers.

1956

Dr. Rogers marries Donna Mae Brinker.

1956

Dr. Rogers receives a Bachelor of Science from Northwestern University.

1959

Dr. Rogers receives a Doctor of Medicine from Northwestern University and becomes a rotating intern at Walter Reed General Hospital.

1959

Dr. Rogers is commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army.

1960

Dr. Rogers becomes a resident in radiology at Fitzsimons General Hospital.

1967

Dr. Rogers becomes a radiologist at Baptist Memorial Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.

1967

Dr. Rogers advances through the grades to becomes a Major in the U.S. Army.

1968

Dr. Rogers becomes a radiologist at the University of Texas Medical School (now McGovern Medical School) in San Antonio.

1972

Dr. Rogers is appointed director of residency training at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston, Texas.

1974

Dr. Rogers becomes a professor and chairman of the Department of Radiology at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, Illinois.

1995

Dr. Rogers is appointed editor-in-chief of the American Journal Roentgenology in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

2003

Dr. Rogers becomes a professor of radiology at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center.
