Dr. Anderson is born Hinton, West Virginia to Fred Wingo and Georgia Lee Anderson.

1958

Dr. Anderson receives a Bachelor of Science from West Virginia University.

1961

Dr. Anderson receives a Doctor of Medicine from Northwestern University.

1965

Dr. Anderson serves as a Captain in the U.S. Army.

1965

Dr. Anderson receives a Master of Science from the Mayo Foundation for Medical Education and Research.

1968

Dr. Anderson becomes an assistant professor of medicine at the University of California San Francisco.

1973

Dr. Anderson is promoted to full professor of medicine and clinical nutrition at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine.

1979

Dr. Anderson serves as president and founder of the HCF Nutrition Foundation in Lexington, Kentucky.

1981

Dr. Anderson authors “Diabetes-A Practical Guide to Healthy Living.”

1994

Dr. Anderson authors “Dr. Anderson’s High Fiber Fitness Plan.”
